    Basic Cataract

Introductory course for new surgeons to gain the basic knowledge and practical skills to perform modern cataract surgery, with both classroom and wet-lab sessions.

    Complications and Challenging Cataract Management

Building on the foundations, this course is for surgeons with experience in phacoemulsification wanting to develop their knowledge and skills for more moderate to complex surgical cataract cases using the latest technology in an extended wet-lab session.

    Advanced Cataract – Astigmatism Management

An opportunity to learn about astigmatism management with Toric IOLs. Biometric assessment, marking, digital marking, implantation, and alignment with an opportunity to use the latest cutting-edge technology. This course is for surgeons with a minimum of 200-250 independent cataract cases.

    Basic Surgical Retina

Acquire the foundations of knowledge and skill for vitreoretinal surgery. For surgeons with a minimum of 3 years in ophthalmology, this provides an opportunity to explore assessment, preparation, surgical techniques and methods in vitreoretinal surgery.

    Advanced Surgical Retina

A course for surgeons with some experience of vitreoretinal surgery, to advance knowledge and skills in all aspects and gain a greater understanding of more technically and clinically advanced aspects of vitreoretinal surgery; advanced visualization, diagnostics, disease management and surgical treatments.

    Advanced Laser Refractive

For laser refractive surgeons with experience, ready to improve their understanding of more complex surgical concepts in the management of ametropia including myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism, and presbyopia. Acquire the skills to carry out advanced surgical techniques to improve inadequate outcomes from previous vision correction surgeries.

    Advanced Cataract – Presbyopia Management

Focused on advancing your knowledge and skill in the use of advanced-technology IOLs. Our distinguished faculty discuss patient education, selection, expectations, and share surgical pearls to achieve the best refractive outcomes for patients. A course for experienced cataract surgeons ideally with knowledge of using Toric IOLs.

    Basic Biometry

Introductory course to gain an understanding of different aspects of biometry, what good measurement looks like, steps to acquire good measurement and IOL power calculation in today’s cataract surgery to optimize patient outcomes. This course is for both opticians and ophthalmologists.

    Advanced Biometry

Become familiar with calculations and formulae advancing your knowledge and skills in calculating IOL power to optimize patient outcomes using the latest technology from standard to complex cases and understand the optical principles of different biometry devices. This course is for both opticians and ophthalmologists.
