What are we doing?
The disposal of contact lenses generates plastic waste that negatively impacts the environment, which is why in collaboration with Plastic Bank™, we are collecting ocean-bound plastic to offset the plastic used in our PRECISION1™ and TOTAL1™ contact lenses.
What does this mean?
For each ton of plastic used in our TOTAL1™ and PRECISION1™ contact lenses*, Plastic Bank™ will collect the same amount of ocean-bound plastic in vulnerable coastal communities.
Every purchase of PRECISION1™ and TOTAL1™ contact lenses contributes to our annual commitment of collecting plastic from the ocean in collaboration with Plastic Bank™ - removing millions of single-use plastic.

Through our collaboration with Plastic Bank™ in 2022, we offset the plastic used in our daily disposable contact lenses by collecting the equivalent amount of ocean-bound plastic.
Why Plastic Bank™?
Plastic Bank™ is stopping ocean plastic while improving the lives of those who help collect it.
For each ton of plastic we use in our PRECISION1™ and TOTAL1™ contact lenses*, Plastic Bank™ will collect the same amount of ocean-bound plastic in vulnerable coastal communities, recovering several hundred thousand kilograms of ocean-bound plastic.
Plastic Bank™ builds ethical recycling ecosystems in vulnerable coastal communities.
Plastic Bank™ collectors receive bonuses for the materials they collect, which helps them gain access to basic family necessities such as groceries, cooking fuel, school tuition, and health insurance.
